Iconic modern houses get the Thomas Kinkade treatment

If modern architecture had a polar opposite, it would be the work of Thomas Kinkade, the late painter whose bucolic artwork is synonymous with mall kiosks. And yet, when combined, the two make for some brilliant trolling. Photoshop artist and architect @robyniko created his own mashup series of Thomas Kinkade with Modernist homes and buildings. Included in this series is a Charles and Ray Eames’ Case Study Cabin, Le Corbusier’s Villa Savoye, Mies Van Der Rohe’s “Farmsworth House” and Philip Johnson’s Glass Cottage.
