Human blinders to block out office distraction
Say hello to Wear Space. Panasonic has partnered with Japanese fashion designer Kunihiko Morinaga to develop a flexible material that wraps around the back of the head and covers the side of the eyes, blocking up to 60 percent of a wearer’s peripheral vision. The goal is to cut down on distractions simply by making them invisible. “As open offices and digital nomads are on the rise, workers are finding it ever more important to have personal space where they can focus,” the company explains. Has our inability to concentrate really come to this?
